WHAT KIND OF SAUSAGE SHOULD YOU USE?

Any fully cooked sausage will work. Chicken, beef, pork, or turkey are common great options. I enjoy Applegate Chicken Sausage (the one in the refrigerated case without the frozen section) because their ingredient list is incredible and I’ve never tried one among their varieties that I didnrrrt like. No ad. Just my preference! The Chicken & Apple flavor is our favorite. Aidell’s is yet another excellent brand you can like!

If Whole30, you should select a Whole30 compliant sausage. You will want to look into the label because many brands include sugar. Applegate, Aidell’s, Teton Waters Ranch, Pederson Farms, and Belinski’s all have Whole30 compliant (or approved) sausage options.

CAN YOU SUBSTITUTE OTHER VEGGIES?

This recipe is clearly designed for making those the vast majority of zucchini but you will find obviously other vegetables you might include instead. Yellow squash could be my top pick and green beans would work well too. Which i encourage people to have comfortable in the kitchen and attempt new stuff! Swapping out a veggie is an simple way to manufacture a recipe meet your needs and utilize up what’s inside your fridge!

HOW TO SERVE THIS DISH?

Oh there are plenty of tips on how to offer this easy meal. You may clearly have fun with this out of the box and it’s really just perfect. Light. Flavorful. Healthy. Low carb.

But perhaps you wish to add something to stretch this dish a bit further? Serving over cauliflower rice help keep things ultra light but enable to your account sneak in even more veggies!

Maybe you want to include some grains or carbs to get this to extra satiating? That work well too! Try serving over traditional white or brown rice, Easy Seasoned Roasted Potatoes, Easy Diced Air Fryer Potatoes, or Skillet Breakfast Potatoes.
